About Michelle

I have spent my career as a physical therapist helping people move better, improve function, and work toward the activities that are important to them. Over the years, I have worked with hundreds of people before and after total knee replacement, and I have seen how overwhelming the process can feel when questions arise and clear guidance can be hard to find.

That is why I created The Total Knee Success Podcast. My goal is to provide practical, evidence-based education for people preparing for or recovering after total knee replacement, in language that patients and families can revisit whenever they need it.

I am also an adjunct professor, so education is a large part of my work both in and out of the clinic. I teach future physical therapist assistants, and I believe patients also deserve clear explanations. When you understand more about what may be contributing to your symptoms, what questions to ask, and how common recovery principles may apply, you can take a more informed role in your care.

My podcast, resources, and upcoming book are built around one central idea: people facing knee replacement deserve clear, respectful, evidence-informed education that helps them participate more confidently in conversations with their healthcare team.

The information shared here is for educational purposes only and is not a substitute for individualized medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always follow the guidance of your surgeon, physical therapist, and healthcare team.
